Agency Principal
Danielle joined Ellis Insurance Agency in 2012, bringing deep expertise in voluntary benefits and a clear vision for building a truly full-service agency. She holds degrees in Business and Human Resources from Marshall University and earned her CLCS designation early in her career. After successfully building and leading the agency’s commercial department, Danielle purchased Ellis Insurance Agency in 2020. Since then, she has guided the agency’s growth through a rapidly evolving insurance landscape, with a strong focus on relationships, service, and long-term protection for clients. Outside the office, Danielle is passionate about foster care, special-needs parenting, and supporting women entrepreneurs. She spends most of her free time with her husband and four young children, creating meaningful adventures together—and, on rare but treasured occasions, unwinding on her back deck.
Emilee Miller
Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent
Emilee joined us, bringing a wealth of experience from years spent in various customer-facing roles within her family’s local businesses. Whether at the neighborhood grocery store, a well-loved restaurant, or a doctor’s office, Emilee has interacted with numerous community members and policyholders of Ellis Insurance over the years. Her innate desire to help others drives her commitment to customer service. Having worked extensively with children, Emilee was inspired to nurture a family of her own, and she now enjoys her role as a devoted mother and wife in a beautifully blended family. Emilee’s outgoing nature allows her to connect easily with others, ensuring that she rarely meets a stranger. In her free time, she enjoys singing, dancing, and painting, which reflect her creative spirit. Describing herself as an old soul with a free-spirited mindset, Emilee aspires to one day reside on a small island, where she can devote time to crafting and embrace a peaceful lifestyle under the sun.

Karey had a background in medical sales before taking some time to raise her kids, and made the decision to re-enter the workforce and join the Ellis Insurance family in April 2025. Outside of working you will always find her on the run. She has completed several distance runs, half, and full marathons. Of course, most of her running involves running her two kids to soccer games, basketball, and cross-country meets. She is a lover of anything outdoors, whether that’s the beach for some R&R with her family, or the mountains for some hiking, anything outdoors will do!

With over a decade of experience in customer service–focused roles, Kaelyn brings a strong commitment to helping clients navigate their insurance needs with confidence and ease. Brandy’s diverse career spans healthcare, construction, retail, and management. She began her insurance journey in 2011 as a traveling benefits consultant before taking time to foster and adopt local children. Returning to Ellis Insurance in 2019 as agency coordinator, she was later promoted to the first Commercial Lines Account Executive in 2021, where she continues to expand the commercial insurance department.

Agent
Cody thrives on genuine connections, from his time in healthcare and his family’s funeral home to becoming an insurance agent in 2020. An outdoor enthusiast and CrossFit competitor, he also teaches at Never Give Up in South Charleston. Known for his humor and pranks, he brings energy to our team while helping clients with wisdom and care.
Paige Ellis
Founder
Paige started his career at nine as a newspaper delivery boy in Logan, WV, driven by values of honesty, hard work, and humor. He pursued various ventures—from bus driving and car sales to raising foxes and recording a comedy album—before founding R. Paige Ellis Insurance Agency in 1981. After building a trusted reputation, he retired in 2019, passing the agency to his daughter, Danielle. Though he enjoys fishing, traveling with his wife Joyce, and coffee with retired bus drivers, he’s always plotting his next adventure.
Ashok Mahanthi
Processor
Ashok joined Ellis Insurance Agency in 2021 as a Processor, handling documentation, policy changes, and workflow efficiency to support customer service. With a background in study abroad administration, insurance processing, and banking, he brings strong expertise to the team. He holds a B.Tech in electronics and communication engineering and enjoys traveling with his family in his free time.
