Danielle joined Ellis Insurance Agency in 2012. With several years of experience selling voluntary benefits before joining her father’s agency, she set out to help Paige create a “total insurance agency” that could meet all of their client’s needs under one roof.

Danielle completed her bachelor’s degree in business management and her master’s degree in human resource management at Marshall University. She also completed State Auto’s prestigious Pacesetter program and earned her CLCS (Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist) designation, finishing third in the nation out of a class of nearly 50 participants.

Danielle established the commercial department of Ellis Insurance Agency and takes great pride in assisting other small businesses with finding the perfect coverage solutions at affordable prices.

In 2020, Danielle purchased Ellis Insurance Agency from her father. The agency has grown significantly since then, overcoming the challenges that 2020-2021’s pandemic brought by implementing new technology and pivoting with alternate strategies when the insurance markets began to change.

Danielle is known to champion causes that are close to home—quality internet access, foster care, normalizing special needs parenting, and female entrepreneurship, to name a few. When she’s not at the office, you’ll probably find her snuggling her little people, walking her giant dog Owen, or front porch sitting with her husband, Josh.
