Mackenzy has always been outgoing and eager to assist her community, which ultimately brought her into careers based in customer service. She is an honors graduate from West Virginia State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. After college, she worked closely with Kanawha County officials and residents as a 911 dispatcher and telecommunicator at Metro 911. For almost 3 years she served the community whole heartedly and is very appreciative of the knowledge gained through the rigorous training and certifications. When Mackenzy interviewed at Ellis insurance agency and instantly felt right at home, and we felt the same! She uses her skills gained at Metro 911 to assist our customers and team with everything from address verification to diffusing tension on hard days in the office with a sense of humor and a smile. When Mackenzy is not in the office, you’ll probably find her at home with her husband watching one of her favorite crime shows or attending church with her family.
